Cathy Cai

Cathy Cai holds a Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Texas Health and Science University and is a licensed acupuncturist by the Texas State Board of Acupuncture Examiners. She is also a Certified Diplomate in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).

Cathy has always been fascinated by Chinese medicine as she grew up in China and the practice has been a part of her family for generations. Her ancestors were practitioners of traditional Chinese medicine, and her family began teaching her Chinese herbology and the theory of oriental medicine at a young age. This fascination led Cathy to pursue her master’s degree in acupuncture, which she received with magna cum laude honors. She has since begun her career as a licensed acupuncturist.

She has over 3000 hours of education in oriental medicine, over 1000 hours of supervised clinal training, and has treated over 2000 patients. Cathy is passionate about providing others with natural and long-lasting treatments; and hopes to improve the quality of life of her patients through acupuncture, herbal medicine, and dietary nutrition.
